National Future Day 2024 - Discover the world of work 👨🔧 👩💼 On National Future Day 2024, REGATRON once again opened the doors to young talents and welcomed 15 inquisitive girls and boys for an exciting insight into working life. The day offered a practical introduction to the many different areas at REGATRON.🔧 The morning began with a guided tour of the logistics, system construction and assembly departments, during which the young visitors were given an insight into everyday working life. After exploring the departments, the participants were able to discuss their first impressions and experiences with their supervisors over a light snack.🔧 After that, two interactive challenges were on the agenda. Firstly, an obstacle course in the logistics department encouraged teamwork and skill. Then precision was required as the pupils assembled and soldered their own luminous spinning top, “Surrli”. For many, it was their first experience of working with soldering irons, resistors and LEDs. At the end, they were able to take their self-built creations home with them.👀 After an extensive lunch break, the schoolchildren visited our experts in various departments, from hardware and software development to testing and logistics. They observed our specialists at work and discovered the many activities that make REGATRON special.🙂 With tired but happy faces, the young talents left the company in the evening, filled with new knowledge and memories. Who knows? Perhaps we will see some of them again as future trainees or employees at REGATRON - the door is always open!

👩💻Learning how to code at 42 is certainly challenging. But is it worth it? It's often more difficult than regular Computer Science studies. You learn the most challenging coding language of them all - C - and need to find enough resilience, motivation and patience to go through a lot of wildly complex projects. So, is it worth it?The companies that employ our graduates certainly think so. We spoke to Volkswagen's Christin Hercht and Robert Markhardt about their experience of hiring 42 graduates. We also talked to 42 Wolfsburg alumnus Ruslan Kultaev to share his perspective on how 42 prepared him for a software engineering role at CARIAD - Volkswagen’s Software Business. As we have just been grouped for projects at #3MTT physical training center, I realized the effectiveness of one of the methods I learned from Tobi ProductDive about problem statement.Please get along with #myproductdivelovestoryWe are a group of six people expected to agree on a problem and proffer solution at least to the point of User Persona in our trajectory.So we agreed on a project and need to take the 1st step of pitching our Product Discovery then move to Problem Statement. PD was done but the team did not heed to my advice of using problem statement formula we learn from ProductDive that goes like this;Persona trying to do X get Y because - insert barrier and our solution is - insert solution. SIMPLE!I was vindicated by the above formula last week when the team was answering questions from our tutor who asked us to go back and work more on our presentation ESPECIALLY Problem Statement. Hopefully my team will adopt the method quickly.My love for ProductDive will never die because of their teaching methods. They create a belief in my mind that I can learn and understand anything through their simplest way of teaching.ProductDive is Val🤍
